How to hang up the jungle

Explained step by step. Screws and plugs are not included: add them at checkout as a handy extra.

The parts of your lamp

Read all the steps first before you begin.

Need an LED bulb? LED bulbs are not included. Look for a G95 spiral LED with a maximum power of 25 watts.

Installing the ceiling bracket

What do you need?

  • Ceiling bracket
  • Drill with drill bit
  • Wall plugs and screws
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Pencil

Steps

  1. Switch off the power

    Switch off the power at the main switch so you can work safely.

  2. Choosing the spot

    Choose the spot on the ceiling where the lamp should hang. Hold the bracket against the ceiling and mark the screw holes with a pencil.

  3. Pre-drilling

    Drill holes at the marked points with a drill bit that fits the wall plugs. The holes must be 2 mm deeper than the length of the plugs.

  4. Inserting the plugs

    Push the plugs into the holes until they are flush with the ceiling.

  5. Attaching the bracket

    Place the ceiling bracket over the plugs, line up the screw holes and tighten the screws firmly.

  6. Checking

    Check that the bracket is firmly attached and adjust the screws if needed.

Your ceiling bracket is installed and ready to use!

Installing the ceiling lamp

What do you need?

  • Light fitting with connection cables
  • L and N wires from the ceiling
  • Mounting bracket
  • 2 screws
  • Screwdriver
  • Wire connector (terminal block)
  • Drill with drill bit
  • Wall plugs and screws (if needed)

Steps

  1. Switch off the power

    Switch off the power at the main switch so you can work safely.

  2. Connecting the electricity

    Strip the ends of the L (brown) and N (blue) wires from the ceiling. Connect the L wire from the ceiling to the lamp's L wire with the wire connector and tighten the screws firmly. Connect the N wire the same way.

  3. Attaching the lamp to the bracket

    Attach the lamp to the mounting bracket with the screws and make sure it is firmly in place.

  4. Checking

    Check all connections and fixings once more. Switch the power back on and test the lamp with the switch.

Your lamp is now connected and fixed in place!
